Cupcake Gift Wrapping

So I wanted to fold the burp cloths and receiving blankets in a creative way. Thanks to pinterest, I got a few ideas.

Since Sandra loves cupcakes, I thought she would be tickled.

Getting Fabric Organized

Well I forgot to take a "before shot", but I used to keep my fabric folded up in a plastic bag and it was really hard to see what I had.

Ok here is the after picture. I folded the fabric up using cardboard that I cut from the flaps of boxes. They are like "mini-bolts".

Totes and oven mitts

You've seen this fabric before, but I am using all of it up, which is good!!

The oven mitt (and future potholder) are for Justin's co-worker who months ago kept admiring the one I had sewed for Sarah. Since he is getting married in a couple weeks, I thought I'd supplement their wedding gift with this homemade part :) knowing my luck, his fiancé is going to take one look at these and say: "why did she make us these" and he will have forgotten and say "I don't know" and it will go down in their history as "one of those" wedding gifts that you can't return. Just kidding.

Two totes: one for Sandra's belated bday and one for Erin's belated bday.
